Jeonggwan Museum to Host "Children’s Mobile Museum" in Collaboration with the National Folk Museum of Korea

The Jeonggwan Museum, under the Busan Museum, announced it will host the "Children’s Mobile Museum" event in collaboration with the National Folk Museum of Korea from May 14 to 16.

The "Children’s Mobile Museum" is a signature traveling educational program in Korea operated by the National Folk Museum of Korea. It brings museum exhibitions and teaching materials directly to children who have limited opportunities to visit museums.

• ●The National Folk Museum will operate a large bus named the "Magical Room," featuring a collection of dolls from around the world.

• ●Participants will first tour the exhibition bus, which will be parked in the Jeonggwan Museum’s large parking lot, then attend a class about world dolls and toys, followed by a hands-on doll-making workshop.

Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in the "Assembly-Style Costume Room: Three Kingdoms Era" program organized by Jeonggwan Museum.

• ●After completing the activities aboard the exhibition bus, children will participate in Jeonggwan Museum’s special educational program designed for this event, where they will learn about clothing and culture during the Three Kingdoms Era using artifacts and cultural heritage materials from the museum’s collection.

The educational sessions are open to groups of 25 children aged 5 to 6 years from early childhood education institutions. Registration will open online on May 1 at 10:00 a.m. through the Busan City Integrated Reservation website (reserve.busan.go.kr) on a first-come, first-served basis.

• ●The program will be held twice daily (10:00–12:00 a.m. and 1:00–3:00 p.m.) for a total of five sessions.
