Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that for the first half of 2025, 8,856 applicants applied for 320 positions at 17 public institutions, resulting in an average competition rate of 27.7 to 1.

The application period for the written examination was open from April 17 to April 23.

In particular:

• ●Busan Cultural Foundation saw the highest competition rate with 89 to 1 (178 applicants for 2 positions),

• ●Busan Technology Startup Investment Agency followed with 74.3 to 1 (669 applicants for 9 positions).

• ●Busan Transportation Corporation: 27.2 to 1 (187 positions, 5,087 applicants)

• ●Busan Metropolitan Corporation: 18.5 to 1 (30 positions, 556 applicants)

• ●Busan Infrastructure Corporation: 19 to 1 (34 positions, 646 applicants)

• ●Busan Environmental Corporation: 8.1 to 1 (8 positions, 65 applicants)

• ●BEXCO: 23.3 to 1 (4 positions, 93 applicants)

The written examination will be conducted on May 17, split into morning and afternoon sessions.

Test venues and detailed schedules will be announced separately on May 9 through the integrated recruitment website.

The list of successful candidates for the written exam will be released at 2:00 p.m. on May 28.
Subsequently, successful candidates will undergo a personality assessment, followed by document screening and interviews at each institution.
