Busan City to Host “Children’s Play Festival” at Deullak Nallak in City Hall — Applications Open Today (April 24)

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that it will host the Children’s Play Festival at Deullak Nallak in Busan City Hall on May 3 in celebration of the 103rd Children’s Day. The event invites children and their guardians to participate in a fun-filled day of engaging cultural and hands-on activities.

This special event is designed to create joyful memories for children and promote family bonding through a wide array of creative programs:

• ●“Magic Story – The Little Prince” (4:00–5:00 PM)
  A storytelling magic show that creatively combines the beloved tale The Little Prince with magical performance elements, breaking the mold of traditional magic shows.

• ●“Meet the Author of Moon Rabbit” (2:00–3:30 PM)
  A special session where children meet the author of the picture book Moon Rabbit and engage in storytelling, sparking imagination and cultivating interest in reading.

• ●“Succulent Crafting with Black Rubber Shoes” (10:00 AM–12:00 PM)
  A nature-friendly crafting experience using succulent plants, promoting a sense of closeness with nature and encouraging creativity through hands-on activity.

• ●“DIY Bead Bookmarks” (12:00–2:00 PM)
  A fun and colorful craft session where children make their own bookmarks using beads, helping to develop fine motor skills.

All programs are free of charge. Participants can register starting from 10:00 AM on April 24 through the Deullak Nallak website (library.busan.go.kr/openlib). Further details and the full schedule are also available on the website.
