Busan City to Host the 2025 Busan International Boat Show — April 18–20 at BEXCO and the Suyeong River Area

The Busan Metropolitan City announced that the 2025 Busan International Boat Show will be held over three days from April 18 to 20, at BEXCO and the Suyeong River area. Co-hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, this year marks the 11th edition of the event since its launch in 2014.

Over 130 companies will showcase their latest products at Exhibition Hall 1 of BEXCO, including yachts, boats, navigation and safety equipment, fishing gear, and more. A business consultation area will facilitate networking between domestic companies and international buyers from 12 countries, promoting Korea’s marine leisure industry and supporting its entry into global markets.

The show will also feature a range of indoor and outdoor experiential programs:

• ●Indoor: surfing and canoe simulators, rowing machines, children's fishing zones, life jacket fittings, and first aid demonstrations

• ●Outdoor:

• ○Free boat rides along the Suyeong River for stamp tour participants

• ○Yacht tours at Suyeong Bay Yacht Marina for foreign visitors

In addition, several special events will take place:

• ●Marine Leisure Industry Forum with experts from academia, industry, and research institutions

• ●Online boat club meetups

• ●Fishing gear exhibition zone

The opening ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM on April 18 at BEXCO, featuring welcome speeches, the BIBS Awards (Boat of the Year, Innovation Award), and a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a guided tour of the exhibition hall.
