Korea’s Top-Tier Men’s Professional Tennis Event – 2025 Busan Open International Challenger Tournament to Be Held

The 2025 Busan Open International Challenger Tournament, Korea’s highest-grade men’s professional tennis event, will be held from April 13 to April 20 at the Geumjeong Sports Park Tennis Courts.

Now celebrating its 25th anniversary since its launch in 1999, the Busan Open is a prestigious ATP Challenger 125 tournament—one of the highest tiers in the global ATP Challenger Tour. The event is jointly hosted by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and the Korea Tennis Association, organized by the Busan Open Organizing Committee, and sponsored by Busan Metropolitan City.

With a total prize pool of $210,000 USD (approx. KRW 280 million), the tournament will feature about 80 players from 30 countries, including 11 domestic and 69 international professional athletes.

From April 13 to 19, the tournament will showcase qualifying and main draw matches in men’s singles and doubles, culminating in the finals on April 20 at 11:00 AM. A total of 64 matches will be played: 49 in singles (18 qualifying, 31 main draw) and 15 in doubles.
