The Busan-Gimhae Light Rail Transit will open to the public on September 9, 2011. From September 9 through 16, the ride will be free. The opening ceremony will take place on September 16, 2011 at Sasang Metro Station. Busan-Gimhae Light Rail Transit consists of 21 stations from Sasang Station in Busan to Kaya Univ. in Gimhae.
The transfer discount will also be applied to the Busan–Gimhae Light Rail Transit in both Busan and Gimhae. The two cities will now be closer than ever through the opening of Busan-Gimhae Light Rail Transit.
