Chuseok is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar, one of the biggest and most important holidays in Korea. Family members from near and far come together to share food and stories and give thanks to their ancestors.
In 2026, Chuseok falls on Friday, September 25. Although the Chuseok holiday usually spans three days, it extends to four days this year, from Thursday, September 24, through Sunday, September 27.
