▶ Returning in 2026 with a new story, the musical The Birth of Eobang: The Answer reinterprets the true meaning of Eobang here and now. It invites audiences on a time-travel journey back to the moment Eobang was born, asking what message the sea—always embracing us in the same place—wishes to convey.
Note: The performance on Friday, June 12, will begin immediately following the opening ceremony at the Main Stage.
Gyeongsangjwasusa Parade

▶ A street parade where Suyeong’s rich traditions and modern flair come together. Exclusive to the Gwangalli Eobang Festival, this lively event features the historic Gyeongsang Jwasusa Parade, traditional processions, a military band, an honor guard, and modern-style parade performances. Residents and visitors alike are invited to join in and share the excitement.

Jindueohwa
21:00 from June 12 (Fri) to June 13 (Sat)
▶ Inspired by the ancient tradition of fishermen using torch-lit boats to catch fish at the old Suyeonggang estuary, this signature program of the Gwangalli Eobang Festival features a spectacular flotilla of fishing boats from Millak Fishing Village crossing the sea. The beautiful lights of the boats shimmering gently across the waves create a breathtaking and unforgettable scene.
Eobang Folk Village
10:00 ~ 22:00 from June 12 (Fri) to June 14 (Sun) | Folk Zone
▶ This immersive program recreates the daily life of a traditional fishing village, inspired by the naval barracks, fishermen’s village, and craft workshops of the historic Gyeongsang Jwasuyeo- ng Fortress. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of folk performances, hands-on activities, and interactive missions led by village characters, offering endless sights and experiences to explore.

Catching fish with bare hands / Eobang Suragan (royal kitchen)

▶ The festival’s most popular program for young visitors! This family-friendly activity lets children catch live fish from a giant tank, which are then prepared as fresh sashimi dishes at the Eobang Suragan (Royal Kitchen).
