□ The 2026 Marine Healing Tourism Program operates every Saturday and Sunday from May 1 through
October at seven beaches—Haeundae, Songjeong, Gwangalli, Songdo, Dadaepo, Ilgwang, and Imrang—as well as Dongbaekseom Island.
○ First launched in 2021 and now in its sixth year, this flagship wellness tourism initiative blends maritime resources with local culture to deliver tranquility and restoration.
□ The 2026 edition comprises Beach Yoga, Sunset Pilates, Ocean Running, and Sound Lounge.
○ Beach Yoga: A weekend morning class on the shoreline to recharge the body and mind; Sunset Pilates: Pilates set against the changing beauty of dusk; Ocean Running: Running beside the sea to boost energy
○ Sound Lounge: A newly introduced sensory offering featuring the sounds and vibrations of singing bowls (bowl-shaped instruments) to promote mental and physical renewal
□ Each session is conducted in small groups of around 30 participants, with a fee of 10,000 won.
○ Sign-up began on April 23 at 부산해양치유.kr on a first-come, first-served basis.
□ Special programs—Sound Walking, one-day trips, and overnight stays—are also available.
○ Sound Walking: A sensory exploration using microphones and headsets to capture and listen to natural sounds
○ One-Day Trips: A combination of Sound Walking with visits to well-being destinations, such as Huinnyeoul Culture Village, Taejongdae, and Ahopsan Forest; Overnight Stays: Water-related engagement along with hot springs and massage treatments for a deeper sense of calm
