Busan Cinema Center will host the 2026 Mongolian Film Festival from April 16 to 18, 2026.
The festival will present four recent Mongolian films that explore themes of nature, family, and everyday life from diverse perspectives. All screenings will be free of charge, accompanied by Guest Visits (GV) featuring directors, actors, and filmmakers from Mongolia.
The program includes the documentary Guardian of the Great Gobi Desert, as well as Father, Mother-in-law, and the Korea–Mongolia co-production The Road to Marriage.
A total of four GV sessions will be held throughout the festival. On the opening day, the director and producer of Guardian of the Great Gobi Desert will join the audience, followed by GV sessions for each film with participating directors, actors, and producers sharing behind-the-scenes stories and production insights.
The festival is co-hosted by Busan Cinema Center, the Consulate of Mongolia in Busan, and the Hannarae Cultural Foundation. All screenings and the opening ceremony are free to attend.
We look forward to your participation.
