□ The Busan Museum of Art has announced that 2026 Loop Lab Busan, an international media art platform, is scheduled to take place from April to June 2026.
○ Now in its second edition, Loop Lab Busan focuses on time and images, comprising exhibitions, a forum, and a fair.

□ Involving over 30 local entities, 2026 Loop Lab Busan serves as an alternative cultural initiative experimenting with horizontal solidarity and encompasses ‘Digital Subculture,’ ‘Moving on Asia,’ and the institutional cooperative event ‘Zero Lab Busan.’
○ The Asia Curators Forum, in connection with Moving on Asia, gathers 16 curators from 13 Asian countries and ensures an opportunity to redefine the value of Asian visual art under the theme ‘The Future of Moving Images in Asia.’
○ Moreover, various side programs, such as artist talks, and the affiliated fair ‘Loop Plus,’ managed by Artivist, are prepared.
□ Zero Lab Busan launches sequentially across the city, commencing with ‘Infinite Layers Between the Point & Time.’
○ Busan-based artists—Kim Mi-rae, Park Yeong-hwan, and Cho Jeong-hyeon—and Moonassi, who delves into the inner universe by means of black-and-white drawings, take part in this preview of 2026 Loop Lab Busan at Sosopung Lounge in Domoheon.
○ The exhibitors utilize diverse genres, including paintings, photography, video, and holograms, to express illusions at the boundary between reality and unreality and reveal fresh challenges that expand their artistic realms. Hologram technology emerged from collaboration with the Hologram Center of Kwangwoon University.
