2026 Busan One Asia Festival with NOL
□ The 2026 Busan One Asia Festival with NOL (2026 BOF with NOL) takes place from June 27 to 28 at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium.
○ Launched in 2016, the Busan One Asia Festival marks its 10th anniversary this year. Under the concept of ‘BEYOND 10: THE NEXT WAVE,’* with NOL Universe joining as a sponsor, the 2026 BOF with NOL is anticipated to create an international cultural exchange platform where people from around the globe can come and enjoy K-culture.
* It signifies not only a new leap toward the next decade, built upon the K-content, fandom, city branding, and industrial achievements accumulated over the past ten years, but also the transformation and amplification that lie ahead.
□ Commemorating its decennial milestone, the 2026 BOF with NOL is anchored by large-scale K-pop performances and augmented with various K-content sectors: ▲ beauty, ▲ fashion, and ▲ food.
○ Multi-genre presentations, including K-pop concerts by artists with massive worldwide fanbases, as well as hip-hop, band music, and exclusive programming, are ready to entertain and captivate audiences. ▲ K-content pop-up exhibitions and experience zones, along with ▲ K-culture talk shows linked with startup forums, further add to the festival’s highlights.
□ On June 28, RIIZE headlines the Big Concert. Widely considered a symbol of dynamic growth within the industry and a top-tier performer, RIIZE has won major domestic awards, ranked highly on music and album charts, and broken first-week album sales records.
○ In the rapidly evolving K-pop market, RIIZE is one of the most forward-looking boy groups and embodies the direction of the ‘NEXT WAVE’ envisioned by the 2026 BOF with NOL.
○ An event official stated, “RIIZE represents both the starting point of the emerging wave declared by the 2026 BOF with NOL in its 10th year and a fresh new chapter of K-pop.”
□ The 2026 BOF with NOL also operates K-content pop-ups spotlighting ▲ beauty, ▲ fashion, and ▲ food, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism’s K-pop Support Project, and demonstrates the distinctive appeal of Busan’s flagship.
○ With K-pop’s global popularity, overseas tourists are taking notice of relevant industries as well. Prior to the concerts, attendees may explore one of the many diverse Korean Wave immersion experiences.
