□ On September 1, 2025, at 14:00, Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan Festivals Committee began selling paid seats for the 20th Busan Fireworks Festival, which is slated for November 15.
○ As the city’s flagship event and popular tourism attraction, the 2025 edition will deliver the most elaborate and multidimensional fireworks ever staged, punctuated by a 20th-anniversary commemorative display utilizing the Gwangandaegyo Bridge.

□ Paid seating is divided into ▲ R Seats with tables and chairs and ▲ S Seats with chairs only.
○ Prices are ▲ 100,000 won for R Seats and ▲ 70,000 won for S Seats. Seating will be arranged on the sandy area in front of Hotel Aqua Palace and Homers Hotel on Gwangalli Beach.
□ Ticketing is available through Yes24 Ticket (ticket.yes24.com) and the Busan Bank app. S Seats may also be purchased offline at any Busan Bank branch.
○ Early-bird admissions released on August 22 were snapped up within one minute, attesting to the festival’s immense popularity.
○ Allocations for overseas travel agencies reached full capacity much faster than last year, indicating tremendous demand from inbound visitors, especially those coming from Taiwan.
○ With the introduction of temporary visa-free entry for Chinese group tourists in September, a further surge in attendance is anticipated.
□ For the first time, tickets can be bought with Dongbaekjeon, Busan’s local digital currency, via Yes24 Ticket. Purchasers will receive an 11% bonus on the ticket price; however, standard cashback will not be granted.
○ The bonus, valid until December 31, 2025, is limited to two tickets per ID and will be credited on November 15.
□ Proceeds will be reinvested into: ▲ fireworks production, ▲ amenities and safety measures, and ▲ job creation for security and guide personnel—thereby enhancing the overall festival experience.
