□ As part of the city’s endeavors to establish a sustainable ecotourism base in West Busan, Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan Tourism Organization are set to present the Western Busan One-Day Eco Tour every Saturday from September 6 to October 25, 2025—combining the ecology of the Nakdonggang estuary with waterfront culture, and ensuring immersive, hands-on opportunities.
○ This inaugural program connects the Nakdong Estuary Eco Center with the Nakdong River Eco Tour Cruise, showcasing the surrounding area’s natural wonders. Accompanied by interpretative guides, participants will engage with the rich ecological and cultural assets of western Busan.
○ The program blends expert commentary with interactive exploration so that citizens and travelers alike will be able to appreciate the significance of the Nakdonggang estuary, learn about environmental conservation, and discover hidden gems along the way.

□ This one-day adventure departs from Seomyeon Station and incorporates stops at ▲ Nakdong Estuary Eco Center, ▲ Eulsukdo Reed Fields, ▲ Wildlife Treatment Center, Alternative Waterbird Habitat, and ▲ Nakdong River Eco Tour Cruise, before returning to Seomyeon Station. Professional guides will deliver in-depth insights into the area’s natural environment, culture, and history.
○ Main activities are: ▲ Nakdong Estuary Eco Center: Indoor exhibition tour, migratory avian observation, ecological education; ▲ Eulsukdo Reed Fields: Escorted wetland ecology tour, binocular-assisted birdwatching, soundwalk (meditation walk equipped with high-sensitivity headsets to focus on natural sounds); ▲ Wildlife Treatment Center, Alternative Waterbird Habitat: Supervised monitoring of wild bird rescue and rehabilitation, visits to waterfowl protection areas; and ▲ Nakdong River Eco Tour Cruise: Onboard viewing of major ecological sites in the estuary, with historical and cultural interpretation.
