□ The water park re-started operations on July 26, 2025, at 12:30.

○ Open for 30 days, through August 24, the water park is poised to offer an inviting and refreshing escape during the peak of the heat.

** Inflatable, bouncy water slide

○ [Amenities] Cooling lounge (40m), shade tent (40m), 50 yurts, restrooms, showers

□ For safety, the water park operates in three daily sessions, with a maximum of 1,500 participants per session, and is closed every Monday. All children must be of elementary school age or younger and accompanied by a guardian.

○ Session times are: ▲ #1: 10:00–12:00; ▲ #2: 12:30–14:30; and ▲ #3: 15:00–17:00.

○ Parking spaces are situated near Culture Plaza and Inline Skating Rink.

○ Reservations began online at 15:00 on July 24. Each session accommodates 1,000 reserved spots and 500 walk-ins.

□ Following the closure of Hwamyeong Ecological Park in 2019 and Samnak’s outdoor pool in 2020 in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, residents in western Busan have faced scant nearby summer recreation options.

□ Mayor Park Heong-joon shared, “I look forward to Samnak Ecological Park Children’s Water Park becoming a vibrant and joyful retreat. We will keep enhancing family-friendly infrastructure to build a city where children can grow up happy.”
