□ After a six-year hiatus, the Samnak Ecological Park Children’s Water Park is back with a wide array of exciting attractions.
□ The water park re-started operations on July 26, 2025, at 12:30.
○ Open for 30 days, through August 24, the water park is poised to offer an inviting and refreshing escape during the peak of the heat.
□ It boasts a variety of fun play equipment—pools and a lazy river—as well as convenient amenities.

* Swallow pool with a gentle current, ideal for floatingv

○ [Amenities] Cooling lounge (40m), shade tent (40m), 50 yurts, restrooms, showers
□ For safety, the water park operates in three daily sessions, with a maximum of 1,500 participants per session, and is closed every Monday. All children must be of elementary school age or younger and accompanied by a guardian.
○ Session times are: ▲ #1: 10:00–12:00; ▲ #2: 12:30–14:30; and ▲ #3: 15:00–17:00.
○ Parking spaces are situated near Culture Plaza and Inline Skating Rink.
□ Access is free via online booking or limited in-person admission on a first-come, first-served basis.
○ Reservations began online at 15:00 on July 24. Each session accommodates 1,000 reserved spots and 500 walk-ins.

□ Following the closure of Hwamyeong Ecological Park in 2019 and Samnak’s outdoor pool in 2020 in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, residents in western Busan have faced scant nearby summer recreation options.
