□ On May 1, 2025, the Cine Museum opened on the second floor of the Busan Museum of Movies in Jung-gu, occupying a space of 338 square meters.
○ A portmanteau of ‘cinema’ and ‘museum,’ Cine Museum provides a wide array of film experiences and a chronological journey that reinterprets Busan’s history and identity as a city of film.
□ With six unique halls, the Cine Museum is poised to serve as a key attraction in Busan’s original downtown area. The ticket booth is styled after a classic 20th century Hollywood theater.
○ ▲ Hall 1: ‘Cinema Busan’ features a five-screen immersive video installation that captures the cinematic legacy of Busan, from its storied past to bright future. ▲ Hall 2: ‘Retro Street’ is a vivid recreation of Busan’s streets in the 1970s, complete with vintage games and photo zones that cater to all generations.
○ ▲ Hall 3: Comprises a fantasy-inspired photo zone and ‘Magic Mirror Room,’ filled with floating lanterns and mirrors to evoke a dreamy, enchanting ambiance.
