BUSAN MICE Information Center and BUSAN MICE Virtual Meeting Room & Studio Open in BEXCO

The city of Busan held the opening ceremony for the BUSAN MICE Information Center and Busan MICE Virtual Meeting Room & Studio at BEXCO’s outdoor square on November 18th.
The two facilities were completed as part of the International Conference Complex Zone Activation Project 2020-2023 following the designation of the Haeundae International Conference Complex Zone by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in April 2020.
The BUSAN MICE Information Center located on the first floor of the BEXCO Auditorium is equipped with a MICE tourism information area, resting area and business conference room. Foreign language guidance services will be available for foreign participants of international conferences and serve as a channel for communication. The center will serve as important platform to ensure the future success of the Haeundae International Conference Complex Zone.
The BUSAN MICE Virtual Meeting Room & Studio was established in a conference room of the convention hall at BEXCO to respond to the surge in demand for conferencing technology for online and hybrid MICE events as a result of the global outbreak of COVID-19. It is equipped with 10 virtual meeting rooms (various sizes), a video production studio and video conference transmission system for video conferencing. Global video conferencing for the MICE industry and local companies, as well as various digital marketing support will be available.
The city vows to support the MICE industry to be better able to respond to changing environments and continuously invest for the future through effective policies.
