American professional golfer Danielle Grace Kang has been appointed as an honorary citizen of Busan Metropolitan City.
Busan Mayor Oh Keo-don expressed his thanks by bestowing honorary citizenship and a city souvenir to Danielle Grace Kang at Busan City Hall on October 21, 2019.
Busan is Danielle Kang’s late father’s birthplace. Kang has many fond memories of Busan from her childhood as well. Kang has an endless love and appreciation for her late father, who gave her his full support during her career and life.
Kang recently came to Busan to participate in the BMW Ladies Championship 2019, which took place from October 24 to 27 at LPGA International Busan.
