“Dynamic Busan” is Busan’s official slogan, adopted in 2004, in order to promote itself as a dynamic international city. The City of Busan is hosting the Busan Slogan User-created Content (UCC) Contest to reinterpret it from the viewpoint of citizens and add new value to it.
Content
Any user created content highlighting “Dynamic Busan” is eligible for submission. Entries may include: local food, tourist attractions, history, landmarks or any other possible materials related to promoting “Dynamic Busan”.
○ Eligibility: The contest is open to everyone, individuals or groups. (Foreigners are welcome)
○ Application Period: Monday, October 1 – Wednesday, October 31
(All submissions must arrive by 6 p.m. on October 31)
Submission
Please submit the following: 1) Application Form, 2) Personal Information Collection and Usage Agreement and 3) YouTube link of video via email: kai0114@korea.kr
There is no entry fee.
Judging
Winners will be determined by the numbers of views and likes on Youtube, as well as by experts in the field.
Judging Criteria
Dec. 7 - The numbers of views and likes on Youtube between Monday, October 1 and Friday, November 30 (70%)
Dec. 14 - Creativity, public interest, relevance, usability, etc. (30%)
Contest Prizes
Grand Prize (1) cash prize of 5,000,000 KRW
Second Prize (1) cash prize of 3,000,000 KRW
Third Prize (1) cash prize of 2,000,000 KRW
Participation Prizes (10) cash prize of 200,000 KRW each
The contest winners will be announced at the end of December.
