Busan City announced the ‘2018 Busan Tourism Citizen Photographers’ on March 13 at Busan City Hall.

Five Busan-residing photographers were selected as 2018 Busan Tourism Citizen Photographers through an evaluation of their documentation and photos. They will take pictures of festivals, scenery, and food in Busan, including drone shots, to promote Busan until the end of this year.

The passionate photographers are:

An event planner, Kim Min-geun is a talented photographer with experience of planning and hosting various photo exhibitions and managing a photo studio.

Three photographers – Gwon Gi-hak, Park Young-eun, Jeong Hae-jin – who will be focused on photographing sceneries, festivals and food of Busan, are famous bloggers and have a passion for photography.

A drone photographer, Jung Eul-ho is pleased to be selected as a 2018 Busan Tourism Citizen Photographer to promote Busan. He has been dreaming of becoming a photojournalist all his life.

The photos taken by them as the 2018 Busan Tourism Citizen Photographers will be open to the public for use. The photos can also be used for commercial purposes.

The city expects this to help revitalize Busan’s tourism industry.
