Korea Rehabilitation & Senior Care 2019 will be held June 27~29 (Thu~Sat) at BEXCO’s Exhibition Center I (2B, Hall 3). Hosted by the Busan Metropolitan Government and supervised by BEXCO and Busan Techno Park’s Elderly-Friendly Industry Support Center , this exhibition introduces outstanding aging-friendly products to visitors and serves as an excellent business platform for participating companies (forging domestic/overseas sales routes, etc.).

In its 12th run this year, the exhibition is an international expo certified by the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy. This year, 250 companies in 780 booths will be featured, with several pavilions dedicated to a diverse range of products ( Assisted Living Services, Mobile Welfare Center, Rehabilitative Medical Institutions, etc.). The exhibition is expected to enjoy the participation of all major Korean companies and institutions related to the aging industry. This year, it will also diversify the focus of most aging-related trade shows on medical devices/products to include a “Food Pavilion,” featuring foods that meet the physical needs of elderly persons; a “Finance Pavilion,” providing information on financial planning for seniors and preventing the ill effects of voice phishing; and a “Well-Dying Pavilion,” which will offer information on how to prepare for a simple yet dignified death.

Furthermore, foreign buyers invited from multiple countries (India, Malaysia, etc.) will be available (along with interpreters) for high-quality export consulting that will help Korean companies find overseas sales routes and increase revenue. Major auxiliary events (a specialized forum on the aging industry and long-term assisted living, free wheelchair repair, hands-on experience with ICT devices, health check-ups, etc.) promises visitors a wealth of things to see and do. One particularly meaningful change this year is that this exhibition will be held together with the Anti-Aging Expo and Medi Busan—all of which have been held separately thus far—as one large event entitled “Korea Healthcare Week 2019.” Further information on the exhibition, which offers a comprehensive wealth of information on welfare, health and employment, is available on the exhibition’s official website or through its secretariat.
