Busan International Food Expo 2018, hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and sponsored by the Busan Branch of the Korea Food service Industry Association, will be held at 2B, Hall 3 of Exhibition Center I, BEXCO for 4 days from October 18, 2018 (Thu) to October 21, 2018 (Sun).
Entering its 15th exhibition this year, the expo is composed of a general exhibition, theme exhibition, cooking contest, business consultation meeting, academic seminar, and special programs under the title "Festival of Flavor for the Future."
The general exhibition includes a Busan Local Companies Zone, Nationwide Luxury Brands Zone, General Food Companies Zone, Food Equipment Zone, Competent Institutions, Education and Promotion Zone, Silk Road Global Zone, World Halal Special Zone, and a Food Court & Food Truck Zone. The special exhibition includes the Busan Special Local Food Zone, Health Theme Zone, Special Lifecycle Food Zone, Raw Fish Exhibition Zone, North Korean Food Exhibition Zone, and an In-flight Meals Exhibition Zone. To garner further attention, the 'Live Cooking Show with the Top Chef' and 'Food Talk Concert with Gyoik Hwang' are planned at the additional event hall in the venue.
