Story
  • Every April, Daebyeon Port hosts its anchovy festival, and you can visit Orangdae Cliff, where the legend of Yeonorang and Saeonyeo dwells, and Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, known asSacred place to the Goddess Buddha.
  • The tale of ‘Yeonorang and Saeonyeo ’ in : Yeonorang, who went to the sea to pick up seaweed, is carried on a rock and taken to Japan. Saeonyeo, who was waiting for her husband, came to the sea in search of her husband and went to Japan. When the couple disappeared, the sun and moon losttheirlightinSilla, and in orderto find light,Silla tried to bring Yeonorang and Saeonyeo, but only returned with the silk they handed over. When a sacrifice wasmade to the sky with this silk,the sun and moon regained their light.
