Story
  • If trekkers walk the 12km coastal trail from Imnang throughChiram and Ilgwang to Gijang-gun Office,they can fully enjoy the beginning of Galmaetgil while feeling the quaint seaside village and coastal atmosphere.
  • With the recent opening ofthe Donghae Line, accessibility to Imnang Beach has improved.
  • Chiram means the sea that is choppy and black as if it were painted with lacquer.
  • Ilgwang is the place where Nangye Oh Young-su lived since the end of the Japanese colonial period, and became the background of his representative work, 'Seaside Village'.
