A safety inspection found that on some forest and coastal sections, mobile base station signals do not reach the trail, so calls and mobile data are unavailable.
The City of Busan asked the mobile carriers to improve coverage. They advised that, because of the mountainous and coastal terrain, the conditions for installing base stations are not in place and the problem cannot be resolved in the short term. Please keep the following in mind when walking these sections.

※ Signals may also be weak or unstable at other points in mountain and coastal areas.
■ Before you walk
· Tell a family member or friend which course you are taking and when you expect to return.
· Charge your phone fully before you set out, and bring a power bank.
· Avoid hiking alone, and allow enough time to come down before sunset.
· Do not use the trails when a weather warning is in effect or forecast.
■ In an emergency
· If your call will not connect, move to open ground such as a ridge or a clearing and try again.
· A SIM card error may also be the cause. If you remove the SIM card completely and restart the phone, the handset will search for any available network and may still be able to place an emergency call.
· When calling for help, read out the number on the nearest National Point Number sign (yellow marker). This lets rescuers locate you quickly.
· Where no base station signal reaches, even emergency calls may not connect. Please check your signal before entering these sections.
