Korean War commemorations
On June 25, marking the anniversary of the Korean War’s outbreak, the Memorial Hall hosts commemorative events to honor the war and reflect on its historical significance and lessons. The Memorial Hall hosts a photo exhibition and features a video room screening films related to the Korean War.In partnership with Seo-gu Office, it also offers an evacuation experience event commemorating the war.

This venue results from an in-depth study of the temporal and spatial changes in Bosu-dong, the neighborhood where Bosu Book Street originated, examining both its historical background and how residents’ lives evolved before and after the Korean War. Additionally, oral interviews were conducted with longtime Bosu-dong residents to capture vivid memories and personal stories of their lives.
