DOMOHEON’s Deullak Nallak has a rich history of reinvention. Originally built in 1985 as housing for the security staff of the Busan mayoral residence, the site was repurposed in 2013 as Jiphyeongwan, the official venue for Busan’s civil service exams. In July 2019, it reopened as a Forest Experience Hall for children. DOMOHEON’s Deullak Nallak opened in September 2024 — the latest chapter in its story of reinvention and DOMOHEON’s vibrant cultural space for children, grounded in nature, imagination and everyday exploration.
Conceived as a nature-inspired play environment, DOMOHEON’s Deullak Nallak offers children and families a safe, engaging space to explore, learn, and grow together. Its design emphasizes structural integrity, functional flow, and the use of natural materials that foster an atmosphere of comfort and warmth. Above all, the space prioritizes durability and safety — essential for worry-free play.

On the first floor, visitors will find an information desk, a librarian’s office, an indoor playroom, and a forest-themed outdoor activity space. The second floor houses a children’s library, an English learning zone, and a smart playroom — all designed to spark curiosity and joyful discovery.
DOMOHEON’s Deullak-Nallak is more than a library — it's a vibrant space where children can imagine freely, create boldly, and find joy in every corner.
