Busan Museum of Art opened to the public in 1998 and exhibits a variety of art works, including sculptures, paintings, ceramics and photography. The 3-story (two underground) museum operated by Busan City consists of an exhibition hall, archives, a children’s art gallery, a research facility, an outdoor sculpture park and more. The museum actively participates in international art exchanges in addition to its art research and collections.
