    - The length of carapace is 0.8~1m.

    - There's black wind patterns on the brown background.
    - The carapace is similar with a heart shape generally and the edge shape is the teeth of a saw.
    - Its upper beak is similar with the eagle one because of curving downward and that is differ from other sea-turtles. 4 legs are all flat and covered by a big scale plate.
    - It moves very slowly. When it goes forward, it moves a right front paw and left hind leg and a left hind leg and right paw alternately not moving a left and right front paw at one time in land.
    - It is oviparity and lays 32~200 eggs at a litter.

    - Because it grazes seaweeds primarily, it's much influenced by environmental pollution.

    - The exoskeleton of a carapace and an abdomen is very hard.

    - Cellana nigrolineata is the largest species out of umbrella shells, a keel leans forward, height is high and circular oval shape.

    - The shell is very thick and when bumping against each other, it makes a metallic sound.
    - The shell has blackish brown radial band and its thickness and shapes are different respectively and has various patterns.
    - The inside of the shell has luster, The front side is rather white and the rear side is reddish brown. They inhabit deep sea a little different from other umbrella shells.

    - They are discovered in the southern coast and Jeju island of Korea.
