Moving beyond a conventional presentation of the collection, this exhibition questions the museum’s acquisitions and the futures such collecting practices envision. By opening up to visitors the space of decision-making between the museum’s storage and exhibition galleries, the show creates an opportunity to reflect on the meaning and significance of public art museum collections.
