BUFLIX-city's second YouTube contest

 After the success of last year's competition, city hall has decided to hold the "2nd Busan YouTube Content Contest." This contest will give Koreans and registered foreigners the opportunity to submit a video for a chance to be featured on Busan's YouTube channel, in a special series entitled "BUFLIX."


 This year's theme is "Busan's It-item," any local good representing the city well and that viewers must have or get when they visit. Applicable participants are required to submit content that follows the theme in an ad-type style. There are no restrictions on genre or filming equipment. However, each submission is recommended to be approximately 60 seconds long. The winning video will be the first in a series. Bonus points will be awarded for those who choose to submit an entire series plan. 


 The submission deadline is Oct. 4. Participants can submit their application on the contest application bulletin board, located on Bada TV's website (badatv.busan.go.kr). Finalists will be notified individually on Oct. 18, and the final four films will be selected on Nov. 22, after expert review. Third and fourth place teams will each receive 500,000 won. The runner-up will receive one million won and the grand prize winner will receive three million won. The selected videos will be released on Busan's official YouTube channel next year and the winners will be given the opportunity to create collaborative content with the city.
