Exhibition celebrates SE Asian vets

A commemorative exhibition named "Korean War Veterans from ASEAN" is being held in Busan to celebrate the dedication of Southeast Asian Korean War veterans. The ASEAN Culture House will hold an event for the 2020 United Nations Week to mark the 70th anniversary of the Korean War.
The exhibition presents audiovisual and graphic materials and images of veterans from the Philippines and Thailand. Frames containing photos and newspaper articles from the Korean War era are the main attractions. The event also features memoires and interviews from living veterans, including Federico S. Sinagose from the Philippines and Thailand's Samran Wongkhunti.
"Korean War Veterans From ASEAN" runs free of charge until Dec. 13 at the Community Hall on the cultural center's first floor and is open to those who reserve online prior to their visit.
Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (weekdays), 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (weekends). Closed on Mondays.
How to get there: Jangsan Station (metro line 2), exit 2. The center is located at the back of Inje University Haeundae Hospital.
