The Nakdonggang Estuary Eco Center promotes the Nakdonggang Estuary and its eco center widely through its domestic and foreign networks, with an information sharing and cooperation system established through exchanges with private organizations

Membership status (5 networks joined, 4 agreements signed)

Wetland Link International, WLI (joined in Sept. 2008/ Headquarters - London Wetland Center)
  • Membership: About 350 member centers in 75 countries, including 6 in South Korea
  • Major function: Sharing information on wetlands, communication, education and Ppublic awareness (CEPA), wetland education
Partnership for the East Asian-Australian Flyway, EAAF (joined in May 2009 / Incheon Executive Office)
  • Membership: 97 sites and 19 partners in 10 countries (including governments, global organizations, NGOs)
  • Major function: Sharing information on migratory birds and establishment of networks
Korea Wetland Visitor Centers Network (inaugurated in Aug. 2010)
  • Membership: Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, 8 local governments and 14 wetland visitor centers nationwide
  • Major function: CEPA activities and synergy creation through inter-center human and material resource exchanges
Shorebird Network Korea (joined in Aug. 2010)
  • Membership: Ministry of Environment, 8 local governments and private organizations
  • Major function: Joint nationwide investigation into snipe and plover populations and habitat management
Local Marine Protected Area Center (former Tidal Flat Center) Network (joined in Sept. 2011)
  • Membership: 13 sites including Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation and Seocheon Bird Village
  • Major function: Inter-tidal flat center exchanges and information sharing
Multilateral Collaborative Research Agreement for Study and Preservation of Endangered Insects (signed in Jun. 2012)
  • Membership: 13 organizations including Seoul Grand Park
  • Major function: Proliferation and restoration of insect populations, effective operation of insect centers and mutual exchanges
  • Led by the Korea Association of Insect Research Institutes Executive Office (Nakdonggang Estuary Eco Center, Feb. 2019 ~)
Agreement on Collaborative Research Development with Korea Institute of Ocean Science & Technology South Sea Research Institute (signed in May 2015)
  • Membership: Korea Institute of Ocean Science & Technology South Sea Research Institute
  • Major function: Cooperation for mutual development through academic research on the basic environment, preservation and management of Nakdonggang Estuary, as well as human and material resource exchanges between the two organizations
Agreement on Youth Job and Career Experience with Career Education Center (signed between 2018 and 2019)
  • Membership: 5 career education centers in Saha-gu, Dongnae-gu, Gangseo-gu, Sasang-gu and Buk-gu
  • Major function: Provides opportunities for youth to experience various jobs, working with local communities
Collaborative Research Agreement on Collaboration for Restoration of Bolboschoenus planiculmis. (signed in Jul. 2020)
  • Membership: Nakdonggang Estuary Eco Center, Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water) Busan Region Branch, Kyungnam University
  • Major function: Restoration collaboration and field study to check the status of Bolboschoenus planiculmis colonies
