Water fountains at Children's Grand Park are open July 20 through Aug. 19.

Ground fountains can be found at a number of locations throughout the city.

The most popular of these, the Sunset Fountain of Dream in Saha-gu (district), offers both day and night opportunities for people to take advantage of the hundreds of powerful jets of water that shoot out from the ground. Exciting water, light and music shows add even more entertainment in the evening.

A ground fountain at Songdo Beach Park, Seo-gu, runs at 11 a.m., 2, 5 and 7 p.m. daily except Tuesdays.

Songsanghyeon Square, located in Busanjin-gu, has a ground fountain that runs every two hours for 20 minutes, from noon until 8 p.m.

In addition to ground fountains, watery attractions are waiting at Busan Citizens Park in Beomjeon-dong (neighborhood) and Children's Grand Park in Choeup-dong, both in Busanjin-gu. More than 200 nozzles are installed in a section of Busan Citizens Park near the South Gate 3 entrance. Water shows here begin at 10:30 a.m. and run every one or two hours through 7:30 p.m. Children's Grand Park has a special water park  from July 20 through Aug. 19.

Suyeong-gu also offers a water-filled attraction near Millak Waterside Park. The public can enjoy nearly a dozen water rides for free from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day except Mondays until Aug. 31.

Sasang Geunlin Park's water fountain runs every 30 minutes at 11 a.m., 1, 3 and 5 p.m. Children's favorites like air bounce pads, slides and more are also available.

Witgol Park, next to Jeonggwan Children's Library in Gijang-gun, offers a watery play area during the summer, as well, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except on rainy days.
