As part of the exhibition program for Seeing with Ten Fingers, a special screening will be held at the museum’s newly created space, “Cinema Eulsuk.”
The first film in this special screening series is Blind Shiratori's Eyes for Art, directed by Ario Kawauchi.
This documentary follows Shiratori Kenji, a visually impaired art enthusiast, as he visits various art museums. Director Kawauchi spent over two years accompanying Kenji, highlighting his unique way of experiencing art through conversation. Unlike sighted viewers who typically spend an average of 8 seconds per artwork, Kenji lingers longer and engages in in-depth discussions about each piece.
