The first volume records details about the resignations and inaugurations of successive commanding officers of Dadaejin who controlled the Coastal Defense Secretary of the Dadaepo region from 1600 (the 33rd year of King Sunjo's reign) to 1893 (the 30th year of King Gojong's reign). The second volume features the preface and manuscript of the List of Dadaejin by Dadaejin Commanding Officer Kim Si-jin featured later in the first volume. The third volume records the resignations and inaugurations of successive commanding officers of Dadaejin who controlled the Coastal Defense Secretary of the Dadaepo region since 1893 (the 30th year of King Gojong's reign).
