The first volume records the details of resignations and inaugurations of Naval Commanders of the Left, who controlled the Coastal Defense Secretary of Yeongnam District from the Japanese invasion of 1592 to 1894 (the 31st year of King Gojong's reign). The second volume is about the names of military officers positions who controlled the Coastal Defense Secretary of Gyeongsang Jwado and the installation history of the Left Naval Command. The third volume features the introduction of Hwang Jik's article about the Coastal Defense Secretary of Gyeongsang Province in 1626 (the 4th year of King Injo's reign) and a manuscript entitled the List of Naval Command for Gyeongsang Province.
