By Chung Chang-seop and Kwon Hoon-chil A scene of a surprise attack by a small guerilla crew of Japanese ships during a dark night. After Japanese invaders occupied Suyeong and committed looting and brutality, 25 brave soldiers and the masses launched a surprise attack to protect their hometown, repeating the best efforts of long-term resistance, such as seizing of enemy's provisions. This is an example of homeland self-defense.
