Information on Busan’s medical institutions and pharmacies
As the mass resignation of doctors over the government’s plan to raise admissions quotas for medical schools continues, the Ministry of Health offers emergency medical information to minimize the negative impacts on citizens.
People in need of serious medical care should still visit emergency facilities at major hospitals. Those with less critical healthcare needs should visit local medical centers. However, the ongoing conflict has impacted the operating hours of healthcare institutions nationwide. Citizens should consult the MOH’s emergency medical portal, E-Gen, to find out which hospitals are open and able to handle their specific situation.
Additionally, pharmacies citywide are opening after regular business hours to provide late-night healthcare services. Consult the list below for pharmacies open past 10 p.m.
