Yunsan Tunnel and Jangsan Tunnel 1 set for maintenance work
Yunsan Tunnel and Jangsan Tunnel 1 will experience partial closures for maintenance work.
During Jan. 23 to 25 and Feb. 14 to 16, Yunsan Tunnel will be closed for the installation of an LED display at the tunnel entrance. The new display will offer real-time traffic information inside the tunnel. One traffic lane will be closed from 250 meters ahead of the tunnel entrance from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Additionally, from Jan. 16 to Feb. 5 and March 8 to 23, maintenance work to install a smoke control system in Jangsan Tunnel 1 will cause lane closures from Suyeong-gu to Songjeong-dong. One or two lanes of traffic will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
An official from the city’s road planning division asked for citizens’ understanding of any inconvenience caused by the maintenance work. The city is committed to completing the job promptly while adhering to safety measures.
