ClubD Oasis is Busan’s first hot spring resort
ClubD Oasis, a new premium spa and water park in Haeundae, has been designated as the first hot spring resort in Busan. The designation came after the central government evaluated the facility last December.
A hot spring resort is a facility equipped with a hot spring considered suitable for improving health and aiding recovery based on factors such as excellent temperature, water quality, and favorable surroundings. To qualify as a hot spring resort, the facility must meet the standards set by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security. These standards include a hot spring water temperature above 35 degrees Celsius or, if the water temperature is below 25 degrees Celsius, the water must contain beneficial elements like sulfur or carbonic acid of more than 1,000㎎/ℓ.
ClubD Oasis is expected to become one of Korea's premier hot spring facilities and create synergy with the abundant tourism resources in the surrounding area.
