Busan to give out home security kits for single-person households
Busan will provide home security equipment to 270 single-person households. Applicants will have until 6 p.m. on Nov. 10 to claim a bundle, which includes a smart doorbell, security camera and window locks.
The project aims to foster a safer environment for individuals living alone in the city.
To qualify, applicants must meet the following:
1. Between 18 and 34 years old.
2. The place of residence must be in Busan on the date the application is submitted.
3. Live in a single-person household where the applicant is the tenant according to a lease agreement.
4. The security deposit for the residence is under 100 million won.
Applicants must submit a copy of their lease agreement and resident registration documents when applying. Priority will be granted to individuals who have previously been victims of a crime, provided they include supporting documents in their application.
