FLY ASIA offers networking and more
Asia startup festival FLY ASIA 2023 will take place Oct. 5 to 9 at BEXCO in Haeundae-gu district. The expo is held to help promising Asian startups attract investment and support from domestic and overseas startup ecosystems.
The theme of this year's FLY ASIA is "From Cities to Startups," reflecting the belief that every city's problems can be solved by startups. The event will feature a variety of programs aimed at entrepreneurs, investors, job seekers, academics and government officials. Festival organizers expect to draw more than 10,000 participants.
During the City Leaders Summit, venture capitalists and policy makers from Asia's major finance centers will gather to discuss and establish entrepreneurial networks and exchange programs to support business innovation.
The FLY ASIA Awards, one of the main events of the expo, is an innovative startup competition to help stakeholders discover businesses and support their global expansion.
Other competitions include the Busan Initiative Awards, aimed at early-stage startups based in Busan, and the CINE Fly Awards for film and video content companies that are ready to introduce their products and services to overseas markets. The top companies in these competitions will receive $180,000USD in total prize money.
