FLY ASIA 2023 takes off at BEXCO
Asia startup festival FLY ASIA 2023 returns to Busan for a consecutive year. The expo will take place from Oct. 5 to 9 at BEXCO in Haeundae-gu district.
Under the theme of “From Cities to Startups,” the event will present conferences, panel discussions, exhibitions and more.
The keynote speaker of the conference is Margus Magi, the eGovernment Advisor of Estonia. Mr. Magi is an experienced digital transformation strategist with over 15 years of experience across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
One of the main events of the festival is the City Leaders Summit. Policymakers, business leaders and investors from cities like Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Osaka, and Jakarta will discuss Asia’s startup ecosystem.
In addition, the final rounds of the FLY ASIA Awards will be presented. The FLY ASIA Awards, is an innovative startup competition to help stakeholders discover businesses and support their global expansion. Other competitions include the Busan Initiative Awards, aimed at early-stage startups based in Busan, and the CINE Fly Awards for film and video content companies that are ready to introduce their products and services to overseas markets. The top companies in these competitions will receive $180,000USD in total prize money.
