Finding All helps you find lost items more easily
lost-and-found: 분실물 보관소
Finding All, a new AI-powered lost and found platform that uses blockchain technology, has officially launched. This platform was developed as part of Busan’s Blockchain Specialized Cluster Creation Project(블록체인 특화 클러스터 조성사업), a joint initiative between the city and the Ministry of Science and ICT, with implementation by Busan Techno Park.
Finding All uses citizen participation to simplify the process of recovering lost items. Statistics from the National Police Agency indicate that nearly 1 million items are reported lost annually in South Korea, with only about 50% successfully returned to their owners. This new platform aims to improve on current lost-and-found systems, reducing users’ time and effort.
Available as a mobile and web application, Finding All links directly to the National Police Agency’s lost-and-found management system, enabling users to search for missing items in a single, centralized app. Designed with tourists in mind, it supports five languages: Chinese, Japanese, English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Push notifications alert nearby users about lost items, and the platform includes options for finders to receive rewards.
Businesses such as hotels, shopping malls, and theme parks can also use Finding All as an enterprise solution to digitize and streamline their own lost-and-found systems, from item registration to return.
Beyond item recovery, developers plan to expand the platform’s use to other social issues, such as locating missing pets and people. Finding All will first be available in Busan, with plans for nationwide expansion. The app can be downloaded via the Apple App Store and Google Play by searching for “파인딩올.”
