New shuttle service to and from Gimhae International Airport
On July 13, Busan Metropolitan City launched service on the Urban Express Bus (No. 2029), which shuttles passengers between Gimhae International Airport and Haeundae-gu District. The new service replaces the now-defunct Airport Limousine.
The number 2029 reflects the expected completion year of Gadeokdo International Airport.
The shuttle makes 19 stops between Gimhae and Haeundae and runs 18 times a day at 1-hour intervals.
From Gimhae to Haeundae, the first bus departs at 6 a.m., and the last departs at 10 p.m.
From Haeundae to Gimhae, the first bus departs at 5 a.m., and the last departs at 8 p.m.
The bus fare is 2,100 won for adult passengers, 1,350 won for minors and free for children under 7 who use a transportation card. The same transfer discount on other city buses applies. The fare is much cheaper than the 10,000 won fare charged on the previous limousine bus service.
Passengers' baggage cannot exceed 20 kilograms and must be no larger than 50×40×20 centimeters, roughly the size of a standard carry-on. Portable shopping carts of up to 40L are also permitted.
