Starry, starry night
Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan Tourism Organization invite citizens and visitors to the 2024 Starry Night in Busan, Night Festa. Come an enjoy the best nighttime attractions in the nation. Everyone can participate in various programs, such as the River Dinner Cruise, Night Music Campicnic, Yongdusan Park Night Pop-up and more.
Haeundae River Cruise offers a one-hour dinner cruise every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 p.m. Passengers can enjoy a specially made boxed dinner, take photos, and play with fireworks while cruising along Busan's greatest nighttime scenery, from APEC Naru Park to Marine City via the Busan Cinema Center and the Gwangandaegyo Bridge. Every Friday, a concert on board will entertain passengers under the starry night. Tickets for the 60-minute tour cost 40,000 to 45,000 won. To secure your spot on the cruise, make a reservation on the Haeundae River Cruise website.
The Night Music Campicnic offers free outdoor music performances against the beautiful sunsets of Dadaepo Beach. It will take place every Friday and Saturday evening between Aug. 9 and 24. If you want a closer look at the stage, buy a 10,000 won ticket in advance. The ticket comes with gifts, including a can of beer and snacks.
The Yongdusan Park Night Pop-up will take place at Yongdusan Park in Jung-gu District from Aug. 15 to 25. The park will transform into a playground for all age groups. Boogi, the city's beloved seagull mascot, will greet visitors at the park. Visitors interested in buying local goods and souvenirs should visit the park from Thursday to Sunday during the night pop-up period, as the flea market opens only then.
Additionally, the Night Market at Golden Sunset Bridge in Buk-gu District is open every Saturday and Sunday from Sept. 21 to Oct. 13. Visitors can participate in a tasting event for traditional drinks.
In October, the Night Mission Tour is a gourmet or historical walking tour with participants completing missions around Jung-gu while enjoying local delicacies or historical sites. Special programs for kids are also available, such as Baby Shark's Night Playground and the Night Tour at the Busan Modern and Contemporary History Museum in September and October, respectively.
