The Busan Cinema Center will host the Oscars Special 2024 until April 10. During the screening period, the BCC presents 15 films nominated for the 2024 Academy Awards, among the most prestigious honors in the film industry.

Selections include director Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer.” The movie follows J. Robert Oppenheimer, who is credited as the driving force behind the creation of the atomic bomb. It leads this year’s Oscars with 13 nominations, including a nod for Best Picture.

Also of note, viewers can watch “Past Lives” as it makes its debut in Korean theaters. “Past Lives” is a heart-meltingly romantic film created by Korean Canadian filmmaker Celine Song and starring Korean American actor Greta Lee and Korean actor Teo Yoo.

Tickets for each film cost 8,000 won for adults, 7,000 won for minors, and 5,000 won for BCC members and seniors. For movie schedules and ticket reservations, visit the BCC website.
