Student program examines the importance of jade

The Busan Museum will host a free winter program for elementary school students from Jan. 9 to 14, 2024. The program, titled “Experiment 2: Gogok Necklace,” will educate students on Korea’s history and cultural heritage.


Kids will learn about the usage and meaning of jade and the history of the jewel from the prehistoric era to the Three Kingdoms period. Participants will also create their own jewelry during the workshop.


Classes will take place twice a day, one from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Each session can accommodate 20 students. To reserve your preferred date and time, please visit the website below.
