7th Busan Webtoon Festival kicks off this week
The 7th Busan Webtoon Festival will take place from Oct. 26 to 29 at the KT&G Sangsangmadang Busan in Busanjin-gu district.
Under the theme of “Back to the Future,” this year’s BWF will focus on webtoons with plots involving time travel.
During the exhibition, award-winning works by local and international webtoonists will be on display.
Additionally, well-known creators will share their thoughts and ideas about the industry and their comics. The talks will take place on the 3rd floor of the KT&G Sangsangmadang Busan. Featured speakers include “Shark” creator Kim Woo-seop, “The Greatest Estate Developer” writer Kim Hyun-soo, Taiwanese artists Ruan Guang-Min and Chen Pei-Hsiu, and Japanese creator Tobata Ko.
Other events such as live drawing shows, caricature drawings and more will be presented.
